My research is in commutative algebra, algebraic combinatorics, and algebraic geometry. In particular, my interests include Hilbert–Samuel multiplicities, Koszul and local cohomology, liaison, and the Gröbner geometry of Nakajima quiver varieties and matrix Schubert varieties.

I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University.

For academic years 2019-2022, I was a Dunham Jackson Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, where my mentor was Christine Berkesch. Before that, I was at a postdoc at the University of Kentucky for academic year 2018-2019, where my mentor was Uwe Nagel. I did my Ph.D. work at the University of Michigan, where my advisor was Mel Hochster.

My CV is here.
